English language curriculum

Overview:

The English language curriculum for the primary stage in Sudan aims to improve students’ English skills through several components:

1. *Reading*: Includes reading a variety of texts, such as stories and articles, to expand vocabulary and enhance comprehension. 

2. *Writing*: Features exercises on writing sentences and paragraphs, organizing ideas, and expressing opinions clearly. 

3. *Listening*: Focuses on developing students’ ability to understand spoken English through listening to conversations, stories, and other audio materials. 

4. *Speaking*: Emphasizes improving speaking skills through interactive activities and discussions to help students express themselves confidently. 

5. *Grammar*: Covers fundamental English grammar, such as tenses, verbs, vocabulary, and sentence structure, in a simplified manner suitable for the students’ age. 

6. *Vocabulary*: Concentrates on expanding students’ vocabulary by introducing new words and using them in various contexts.

The curriculum is designed to be interactive and encourages the use of language in real-life contexts, enhancing students’ learning and enabling them to interact more effectively in English
