Courses Introduction:
Scheduling and developing the project budget are as a fundamental skill that every project manager should have in order to successfully mange any kind of project.
This course is designed to help you develop scheduling and cost management skills that will be immediately useful, usable, and used back on the job.
This course aims to provide the attendees with the fundamental concepts and principles of project cost and schedule management and how they can use these tools and techniques (such as critical path method) to deliver the project within the agreed time fame and budget.
The course will also present a base understanding of scheduling techniques used as part of project planning, it covers the basic concepts of develop the baseline schedule, as well as analyzing the effect of delay on the baseline schedule, it also illustrates how to sue a different technique to estimate the total cost needed to complete the project, how to develop the cost base line and how to determine the project contingency reserve. The course illustrates the basic concepts of earned value management and how the attendees can use it to monitor and control the project schedule and project budget.

After completing this course, the attendees will be able to:
- Use different techniques to estimate the activities duration and cost (such as three-point estimate).
- Apply different techniques to analyze the network diagram to build the project schedule and schedule baseline.
- How to build the project cost baseline (S-curve)
- Apply the concepts of earned value management to monitor and control project schedule and cost.
- Differentiate between fixed price contract and cost-plus contract
- Apply the root cause analysis technique.
